Accepted Donations

Accepted Donations
We gratefully accept the following donations:

Non-perishable food items
Perishable food items (during donation hours only)
*Please check the expiration date on all food items*

Surplus garden produce (during donation hours only)

Personal care items: (unopened) shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, liquid and bar soap, first aid items, feminine hygiene products, personal cleaning wipes, diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers

Paper products: paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, paper napkins, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, food storage bags

Clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children; all sizes

Diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers (larger sizes are always needed)

Bedding (sheets, pillow cases, blankets, throws, bedspreads, comforters)
Towels, curtains
Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, glassware
Small household appliances: coffee pots, toasters, toaster ovens, microwave ovens, crock pots, lamps, irons, blenders, floor and window fans

Prom dresses, prom shoes, and prom accessories

Easter candy and basket stuffers

Back-to-school items: (new) backpacks, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, notebooks and paper, erasers, rulers, children's scissors, glue and glue sticks, calculators

Winter coats for men, women, and children in all sizes and styles

Christmas candy and stocking stuffer items

We regret that we are unable to accept the following items for donation:

Air conditioners

Baby items: booster seats, car seats, cribs, high chairs, playpens, strollers, swings, walkers, toys

Bicycles and scooters

Ceiling fans

Computer monitors and hard drives

Durable medical equipment and medical supplies: walkers, crutches


Large appliances: refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers

Large carpets

Light fixtures that require installation

Mattresses and box springs^

Opened household cleaners

Opened cosmetics


Power tools

Stereo equipment



*If you have furniture you would like to donate, please contact The Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The address is: 301 East Main Street in Westfield 01085. The phone number is (413) 642-8990. They will provide pick up. However, they do not accept TV's, any electronics, baby furniture, or toys.
