COVID-19 Grants
The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts awarded the Center a $5,000.00 Capacity Building Grant. The funds were used for staffing costs during the pandemic. We were fortunate to receive $20,000 from the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. The grant was made possible by the generosity of their donors including the Massachusetts COVID-19 Relief Fund. The Fund supports those across the state most impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis, focusing on frontline workers and vulnerable populations including the homeless, immigrant populations, people with disabilities and those facing food insecurity. The Town of Palmer awarded us monies via the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Housing and Community Development, Massachusetts CDBG Program to provide Emergency Food Pantry services to Ludlow and Hampden residents. The United Way of Pioneer Valley awarded the Center $3,000.00 to help with COVID Relief. The Eastman Foundation awarded funds to address the adverse impacts of COVID-19 by providing food for our Emergency Food Pantry. |
